Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO of Connected Logistics, Mr. Burke delivers over 35 years leadership in Defense Information Systems and Logistics, plus comprehensive experience in the design and integration of information technology for the US Army and DoD. He personally developed, designed or deployed eleven Army systems which currently support the force, and managed the $4B billion Army IT portfolio of logistics systems in his capstone assignment as the Chief Technology Officer for the U.S Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (G-4).
Other military experience includes having developed the Logistics Common Operational Picture (LCOP) for the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC), which connected logisticians with Commercial SATCOM, RFID, Movement Tracking, and decision support systems as they supported coalition forces in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Mr. Burke also oversaw the transformation of his LCOP project into the Army’s Battle Command Sustainment Support System (BCS3) and development of CSS SATCOM, the most pervasive satellite communications system supporting DoD Force Projection.
Other relevant tours were as the Chief, Architecture and Investments for the US Army Logistics Domain; Chief, 1st Infantry Division Materiel Management Center, and Support Operations Officer for multi-National Division East as it liberated Kosovo during Operation Joint Guardian. Mr. Burke continues to provide Subject Matter Expertise to the Army Science Board, PEO EIS, Army Materiel Command, and the Defense Logistics Agency on system development and logistics operations.
